Fight Plans are at the heart of BDB. They decide how your fighter uses their 20 points of Aggression, Power, and Defense, which style to adopt each round, and when to switch tactics using if-then rules. Mastering them takes time but soon you’ll have a new tool in your corner.
We’re introducing the AI Fight Plan Assistant.
What it does:
* You describe your intent (“box safely early, chase late if behind,” “pressure the body,” “protect against cuts,” etc.).
* The assistant produces a valid Fight Plan lines just like you’d write yourself (`4h/6/10(ring)`, `if score<-1 then 8/8/4(chase)`).
* It explains the reasoning in plain language, so you can learn *why* a particular plan makes sense.
* You remain in control the FP is fully editable before you submit it.
Why it matters:
* New managers get over the steep learning curve faster, seeing concrete examples of working FPs.
* Experienced managers can explore alternate strategies more quickly, or use the tool to test new ideas.
* The engine doesn’t change fights are resolved the same way. This is about making FP creation smoother and more fun.
How it works in-game:
* On the fight plan screen, click “Ask Coach.”
* Provide your notes on risk level and approach.
* Review the suggested FP. Edit, reorder, or add your own conditions.
* Submit as usual.
We’ll launch this first as an opt-in beta. Your feedback will be key to shaping how useful and fair the assistant becomes. The AI won’t guarantee wins but it will help you craft sharper, more confident Fight Plans.
