Scheduling issue?

Posted 2024/06/22 7:33 AM by Rico Boxing Gym

I finally got scheduled. The fighter I got scheduled to fight weighs 146 lbs. My fighter weighs 126 lbs, which was the featherweight limit. How can this guy weigh 146 lbs and be a featherweight?

This guy is from the Alcatraz gym. It is a robot gym setup several years ago with fighters from suspended gyms. On occasion I will go in and retire fighters that have been on auto for a long time. They never change their plan so eventually they lose APs, so their weight will go up or down alot. He is way overweight so should be a pretty easy fight for your guy. The Alcatraz fighters for the most part have a certain plan. Your opponent is using the Alcatraz slugger plan which you can find if you look it up.
1) 4h/9/7 (clinch)
2) 4b/9/7 (clinch)
if opp is tired then 5b/9/6 (clinch)
if opp is hurt then 5h/10/5 (inside)
8) if score >=2 then 5h/10/5 (clinch)
if score <2 then 5h/11/4 (clinch)
if opp is hurt then 5h/10/5 (allout)
11) if score >=2 then 5h/10/5 (clinch)
if score <2 then 5h/11/4 (inside)
if score <=-2 then 5h/10/5 (allout)
if opp is hurt then 5h/11/4 (allout)

BTW, that Alcatraz slugger plan is pretty decent. Here is the Alcatraz Dancer plan as well..It is a decent plan to use for a dancer as well.
1) 4H/6/10 (ring)
2) if score >=1 then 4b/6/10 (ring)
if score <1 then 7h/4/9 (ring)
3) if score >=4 then 3h/6/11 (ring)
if score =3 then 1/1/15 (ring)
if score =2 then 4b/6/10 (ring)
if score =1 then 5b/5/10 (ring)
if score <1 then 9/4/7 (ring)
if score <=-2 then 5b/6/9 (ring)
8) if score >=4 then 3h/6/11 (ring)
if score =3 then 1/1/15 (ring)
if score =2 then 4H/6/10 (ring)
if score =1 then 5h/5/10 (ring)
if score <1 then 9h/4/7 (ring)
if score <=-2 then 6b/5/9 (ring)
9) if score >=1 then 4h/7/9 (ring)
if score <1 then 6h/5/9 (ring)
if score <0 then 9h/4/7 (ring)
if score <=-3 then 5h/7!/8 (ring)
12) if score >=2 then 1/1/18 (ring)
if score <2 then 9h/4/7 (ring)
if score <=-2 then 5h/7!/8 (ring)

I did realize it was an Alcatraz fighter, and have read about the Alcatraz gym. And I’ll tell ya, based on sparring, this guy has no business in a boxing ring, lol. I was just curious as to why his weight was higher than it’s supposed to be for this weight, and wasn’t sure if this would be an advantage to him. But I didn’t look at his height. He is much shorter than my guy, and weighs 20 lbs more. Certainly overweight. Now I see that. Thx
