If you don't want your fighter to fight AND he is not currently scheduled to fight - you can retire him. A retired fighter will not fight under ANY circumstances. He cannot be forced to fight, and will not be scheduled. A retired fighter WILL receive challenges however. You can retire as many fighters as you want but when you bring your fighter out of retirement, he will occur expenses in order to train himself back into shape. These expenses increase exponentially with the fighter's rating. The formula for determining the expense of retraining a fighter after a comeback is (rating * rating) * 5 To train a 1 rated for a comeback would cost 5 credits. To train a 20 rated fighter for a comeback would cost 2000 credits
