1930: World Heavyweight Champion
1935: The Nazis require separation from his wife and his jewish manager. Schmeling declines
1936: sensational KO win over then unbeaten hero Joe Louis
1938: 1st round KO loss to Louis in the rematch.
1938: Schmeling is hiding 2 jewish teenagers in his Berlin appartment to protect them from Nazi November- Progrom
