2003, February 19th: Today, I made a step in the right direction, I lost, but not by knockout; I am 0-27, but only 26 of those losses are by knockout. I want to stand on top of the highest mountain and say to the world: "You can't knock me out anymore!" at the top of my lungs. I never could imagine the exhilaration I experienced, standing at the end of the match for the reading of the decision. Certainly it was a big victory for me, even if the other guy's hand was raised at the end of the match. Yay me!
26 Feb 2003 Controversial Split Decision robbed me of my crowning moment of glory. 1 rating, 1 status was almost mine, I could taste it, I could feel it, I was there. And then like grains of sand, slipped out of my grasp before I even knew what happened. I feel dazed and lost, empty and cheated. Today, I feel incomplete. I feel like something been taken from me. I feel as if my dog has died. And there was nothing I could do. I fought the fight of my life.
