Adan Vargas is a young man just graduating from high school. He has been boxing since the age of 13. He was born in Tampico, Mexico, and lived on the streets with his 4 brothers for the first 8 years of his life. They got into many street fights, and Adan learned to defend himself pretty well. Even though he was smaller than everyone else, he could take anybody on. His own brothers that were twice his size were scared of him. At the age of 12 he robbed a local store and was caught by the police that night. He was shipped off to jail. In prison he met an old retired man by the name of Tim Austin. He told Adan that when he got out of there, he should look up a man in St. George, Utah by the name of Chuck the Power House. Two weeks later he escaped through the bathroom window and fled into the night. The U.S. border was only 35 miles away. He ran and ran, and hopped over the fence. He now was in America. He hopped onto the bed of a flatbed diesal and rode to Las Vegas. He met a girl there and he married her in one of the chapels there. Now 6 months after he got out of jail, he decided to take his new wife to St. George. He found Chuck's Gym, and Chuck gave him a place to stay. He joined a local amatuer boxing club, and soon became a true fighter. Chuck knew He was ready for the big time, so he took him to a local fair to test his skills on a retired pro. When Vargas knocked the guy out in 17 seconds, Chuck new he had a champ in the making. Chuck had trained a few great fighters, he had trained a regional champ, a couple number one contenders, and one of the best pound for pound Cruiserweights in the World. He turned Adan pro, and now Adan is trying to give Chuck his comeback. I (Chuck) have been out of the business for sometime, and now Adan is going to beat every taker until he get's one more regional title for old times sake.
