onnie is one of a crop of new fighters recently turning pro in Riblet's Gym. He originally came to Riblet's House of Good Eatin' from The Red Pig in Concord, where he was a specialist at the grill. On the weekends he spent much of his time in barbeque contests, or just grilling a whole hog for some church or other event. Basically his entire life centered around barbequeing hogs.
But once Ronnie started work at Riblet's restuarant, he was taunted into boxing by Riblet's daughter Jennifer who claimed she could beat him any time in the ring. Well, after a couple months of this he had heard enough and stepped onto the canvas only to be knocked out by the dainty darling in less than two minutes. As we all know good and well, this could not stand. So over the next two years Ronnie worked hard to build up his boxing skills to the point where he has now turned pro.
