The Gym was formed not long after Harold Ribblestein moved to North Carolina. He grew up boxing in the traditions of New York clubs, and decided that the Carolina's could use a better gym, and thus formed his own. Once he took his gym to the professional rank funding became a problem. So he has opened up a restaurant specializing in Lexington style Bar-B-Q and pork ribs in the front of his gym, and changed the name to match. Now his boxers get the best training and meals.
