arcellas Wallace is a new proffessional fighter in Riblets Gym, moving down south from Detroit. His parents were from Birmingham Alabama, and had moved to Mo Town to try out a career in the music business when Marcellas was but 12 years old. They were horrible at it, and thus he grew up in poverty surrounded by drugs, prositution, and horrible acts of violence. His parents sent him to Apollo Creed's old gym to get trained in boxing just to keep him away from the gangs and other things that young detroit men get into. Thus came to be Marcellas' love for boxing, and his unusual boxing style.
But Marcellas longed for the beutiful green fields, and clean air of the south that he could remember from his youthful days. Birmingham did not have a good boxing gym to join, so he moved to Charlotte, where multiple excellent gyms have been built in the last few years. Loving chittlins and barbeque as much as anything else, Riblet's House of Good Eatin' was the natural choice.
Marcellas has had great success in the ring fighting for Riblet, earning the US South Flyweight Regional Title. Undefeated thus far, Marcellas and a few other quality boxers from the fly's have really turned up the heat, with constant press releases and exciting matches in the ring. A regional rag, The Barnyard, has furthur increased awareness of the quality boxing going on in the lightest weight classes in the Region. So look for Marcellas' fights in the future.
