Entering his debut fight, "Dyn-o-mite" Dynamo MacKenzie was confident in his training and his corner. The, self-described, "unknown quantity" squared off against, a more than capable slugger, Brandon Uriziquita. The two warriors exchanged blows for twelve rounds and it was left for the judges to declare a winner. Both fighters were tired, but in the end MacKenzie's arm was raised via unanimous decision.

When asked about the judges' decision, MacKenzie remarked, "Of course I won, he was never going to knock me out. I got to him early and did my damage. I fought smart and listened to my corner, we knew it was in the bag by the ninth... as long as I didn't do anything stupid, which I didn't."

A hard fought, and well deserved, victory earned the newcomer a bout vs. Corey Wettlaufer (10-11-1). Wettlaufer is a seasoned veteran and he looked to hand MacKenzie a healthy dose of reality. If MacKenzie was going to go toe-to-toe for twelve rounds, he had better be ready. MacKenzie's second fight, of his young career, was over before anyone realized what happened. The bell rang, the two fighters sized each other up and Dynamo kept his opponent off-balance with a series of body shots. MacKenzie saw the hesitation and siezed the opportunity. Landing a crippling haymaker, MacKenzie watched his opponent crumble to the canvas in defeat.

Next on the young fighter's slate is Duke of Dorkdom 17, which will be his toughest bout to date. DoD17 (4-1-0) has seen all of his victories come via knockout, three of which came in the first round. These two exciting fighters will surely put on a good show for the fans in attendance and whoever emerges victorious will surely have earned it.
