The idea for this contest was hatched in response to a recent BBS thread that had some of TBG's top managers going back and forth about championships, with the occasional chime-in from other managers. "My gym..blah, blah, blah..." "Your gym yaddah, yaddah..." "Bought fighters..." this, "Homegrown champions..." that. Yeesh, it's enough to give a guy a freakin' migraine. I was going to make it a contest between the two managers who were at the center of the dispute, but decided that wouldn't be any fun for anyone else. So this contest will be open to everyone, provided you're a pro manager. Amateurs are more than welcome to pony up a couple of bones to turn pro and then join in the stampede.

Now it's time to quit flappin' yer gums and start throwin' some leather!

HERE'S THE DEAL

Be the first to win a World Title with a homegrown fighter created specifically for this contest. What was that? (pause) Yep, that's all there is to it. No fancy twists or plots. Just take home the Gold Belt first. What's the prize? Oh you mean besides the hardware strapped around your fighters waist? How does

RULES OF THE CONTEST

1. You may enter as many fighters as you like in as many different divisions as you like (except for the Toughman division. There's just too much controversy and differing opinions about the division so I just chose not to include it).

2. The fighters name must have the word "gold" in it somewhere.

3. Your fighter must be at a rating of at least 20 when he wins the title. Clairification: If the title fight win takes you to a 20 rating, that is acceptable.

4. To claim either the KO prize or the best name prize, your fighter must be active when the contest ends.

5. The Judge and contest Kreator (that would be me) has the final (and only) say in all questions or controversies. So if you're not clear on something, make sure to ask.

6. You can retire and unretire your fighters as you see fit (fighter management, re: ducking fights). How you get your fighter to the title is completely up to you.
