Billy "Sparks" Castro grew up with Robert and Bryan Castro. Although a few years younger, he would hang out with the boys. Billy had a knack for getting into trouble, including setting fire to their garage, which earned him the knickname "Sparks." Billy Castro was an obvious candidate for boxing, thought his brothers with a smile. Billy has gained a following hoping to gain insights into weightlifting, assertiveness, and boxing.

- February 28, 1999: He won the Cruisers 'n' Bruisers Brutal Award.
- March 30, 1999: He becomes the first holder of the Alphabet Soup's IBO Regional Championship.
- April 18, 1999: He received the Cruisers 'n' Bruisers Spock Award.
- April 29, 1999: He became the first fighter from the Castro gym to reach the rating of 16.
- May 2, 1999: Billy is awarded the Cruisers 'n' Bruisers Brutal Award for the 2nd time. Billy is the 2nd person to win two Brutal Awards.
- August 26, 1999: Billy gets his first win since returning from retirement. He becomes the first Castro fighter to win 25 fights.
- September 4, 1999: Billy knocks out Cruisers 'n' Bruisers prey DOC HOLIDAY
- March 10, 2000: Billy defeats Son of Alf Duck to win the U.S. East Regional Cruiserweight Champion.
