He remembered the years that he had spent in Neveryona. He remembered his wife whom he had lost more years ago than he cared to remember.
Niggun was pained by the mememories of his life gone past, and he took up his fiddle, opened his Chest of Memories and played.
The song that he played was a song for his wife, "The Song For The Green Maiden". A slow, touching song that made the heart weep, building to a hearty, uplifting jig, meant to bring the women dancing to a feverish twirl into the arms of their partners.
Niggun The Immortal Wandered was pained further...yet he played on...
