Mick Mahon's nephew Mynx Mahon has been groomed since four years old to be world champion. Mynx's father Melvin, Mick's brother, had wished for a heavy weight or at least a welter weight, but, they had to settle for a possible straw weight champion. Mynx has come a long way with help of his flyweight sparring partner Bunny Hoover who although not yet a pro, word of mouth says he might be the next Ricardo Lopez.
