Fighter Description

Name: Raymond Vecchio Rank: Detective - First Grade Position: Area 7 Detective Division Posting: District 27 ------------------------------------------------------------ Detective Raymond Vecchio is a macho, urban, and wise-cracking cop. A member of a large, close-knit Italian-American family, Ray has been the head of his family since the death of his father. Predominantly out of family duty, he still lives at home with his mother and his two younger sisters, Francesca, and Maria, as well as Maria’s husband, Tony, and their two children. Ray's M.O. tends toward the breezy, schmoozy, corner-cutting style of police work. And with the enormity of his case load, who can blame him. He does what a Chicago cop has to do. Whereas Fraser wouldn't lie even to Revenue Canada, Ray believes that deception is a valid weapon when up against the criminal world. Ray does not have great faith in the innate virtue of his fellow human beings. It could be suggested that this has something to do with having had an abusive father. He’s a cop in the big city, and through his experience sees scams and angles just about everywhere and believes most people are out to take advantage of others. This view of life often conflicts with Fraser's less cynical nature. Like most cops, Ray plays cards, and is not a stranger to the all night, big stakes poker games with the boys, without Fraser, of course, who doesn’t gamble. A guy’s kinda guy, Ray also loves sports particularly the Chicago Bulls, and has been known to watch the scores of a Cubs or Bears game. As far as Fraser’s wolf Diefenbaker is concerned, he’s not too fond of animals, but on occasion has teamed up with Diefenbaker to help Fraser out of trouble. Ray dresses sharply, if not a bit ostentatiously. He can often be seen chasing fleeing suspects over fences and through other clothing hostile obstacles in an Armani suit. So it is not surprising that Ray drives a green 1971 Buick Riviera, which he adores and since he uses it on his police duty he gets a few dings in it too. It has even been blown-up not once but twice and he miraculously found a replacement each time. Ray was once married for a brief period of time to Angela Russo. He’s not long on discussing this marriage, choosing instead to look ahead to the abundance of females that Chicago seems to offer Ray. He thinks of himself as a ladies man and occasionally a long lost girlfriend shows up. Like most tough guys, Ray undergoes a transformation when it comes to a woman who he is attracted to and gets excitable when it appears that she is attracted to him. He becomes sweet and all smiles. Yet, one would not call him afraid of love, or even shy in the face of love. He’ll go to the ends of the earth to find a girl that kissed him once and whom to all appearances seems to be the absolute wrong gal, since she is also under investigation for criminal activity. One could say that Ray Vecchio has a romantic side. < http://.com/ur.php> < http://.com/ur.php> < http://bookmonn.com/ur.php>
