Fighter Description

New fighter signed by Jacob "The Jammer" Promotions to fight for the Terminators.

"The King" certainly has a high opinion of himself, but it was evident to Jammer Promotions that he had the skills to back up his ego. Bobby is tough as nails, but his agility and mobility help him to avoid taking a lot of big shots (at least in sparring). Jacob thinks that Macarande may have what it takes to be a champion some day, but only time will tell.

Macarande's mouth and Jacob's promotional skill helped "The King" get a regional title shot in his first professional fight. It would be the first of many Regional Championships for the native of Albany, Maine. To date, Macarande has won 16 Midwest regional titles.

Bobby "The King" Macarande reached the pinnacle of Big Dawg Boxing when he scored a 12th round KO of Big Boy Inc.'s BEAUTY IS TRUTH on February 27, 2013, to win the World Super Featherweight crown. He successfully defended his title on March 6, 2013, fighting to a draw against the higher-rated Abrham Lincoln (managed by Top Rank).

Macarande proved his mettle a week later, scoring a 10th round KO of the uber-talented and rail thin Lincoln. Macarande liberated Lincoln's mouthpiece with a wicked straight left to the nose, and the challenger could not respond before the 10-count.
