Fighter Description

Holy Cow... Salazar Beerguzzler was created... before the game... heck he was champion before TBG as part of the lineal predecessor of what we now play. How long ago was Salazar created? December 22, 1996 to be exact. 2nd gym fighter for Cheez (Uranus Hertz was the first, deleted due to a banning on sexual/rude names when Admin rebuilt this site as 'The Boxing Game' and turned it more family friendly in 1999) although they were created minutes apart. The name is derived not so much from anything other than I was a college student alone in my apartment in a college town late one night drinking heavily when I thought of the name "Beerguzzler". Somehow Salazar (it is actually misspelled as the name is most commonly spelled Salazaar) popped out as the first name.

Despite all the Beerguzzlers (at least 10), Salazar was the only world champion to date, with Beerguzzler III the only other title challenger. Either way through fun with old manager friends Joe, Rusty, Errebo, Milkdud, Peekaboo, and a few others with our usually outrageous press release wars up until about 2002; coupled with breaking age and knockout records Salazar became the "Official Spokesperson of The Boxing Game" in 2000. He may no longer be in my gym due to inactivity (hint - hint), but the Beerguzzler name still conjures fear and fun now 13 years after creation... and entering it's 3rd decade. < http://.com/ur.php> < http://.com/ur.php> < http://bookmonn.com/ur.php>
