Grandpa Bectel, the "old man" of the Bectel clan, began his career
on the streets of Muskegon, Michigan. After getting into a scrape, former
middleweight contender Kenny Lane took him in and began training him for the
ring. After years of hard work, Grandpa has found great success including a
BANTAMWEIGHT WORLD TITLE REIGN in January of 2000.
Some say Grandpa's too old for the ring wars, but Gramps just points to his
bottle of Viagra and smiles. "Never too old..hehehe". He now battles as a lightweight
staying in or near the world's top ten finest.
